Doglife is the second of three plays in the Doubting Thomas trilogy, charting the life of former gangland enforcer Thomas McCrudden. It's a real departure from part 1 as it focusses less on what makes someone the thing that they become, but more on the effects that lifestyles and life choices can have on the relationships we try to forge.
The play follows Thomas' attempts at finding love through a series of failed relationships. His inability to truly love another human being is painfully played out over and over, until eventually he finds himself at the door of his childhood sweetheart, begging the question 'where do we go from here?'.
